What are your strengths?
Acknowledging what we do well boosts our self-confidence and makes it more likely that we will succeed. Here are some tips to help you identify what you are good at:
Ask the people close to you to name 3 things they think you are good at. Believe what they tell you.
Think about the times when you feel most capable and empowered - what skills are you using? Those are things you are good at.
Go over the challenges you’ve faced in life and think about how you overcame them. Is there a common theme? If so, that is something you are good at too.
What did you do that made you stand out as a child? You may not do it anymore, but you still posses that talent.
Spend as much time as you need in the morning listing your strengths and talents. What are you good at?
