Listen and be receptive to what you hear

Listen to the wind, it talks.

Listen to the silence, it speaks.

Listen to your heart, it knows.

Humans are intuitive, but most of us have forgotten how to listen so that we really hear what our bodies and minds are telling us.

Receptive listening requires stillness and silence, so go somewhere you won’t be disturbed and that is free from distractions and take 5 minutes to just sit and take notice of how your are feeling right now.

Go through each part of your body in turn, listen to what it is telling you and be open to what you hear. (maybe your jaw is tense - that is a common sign of stress. Take notice)

Repeat this exercise often or as much as you feel you need to check in with yourself and you could also journal around all the answers you hear.
