Spinal Energetics is one of the deepest portals I work with to help you move out of survival mode and back into your body, your breath and your truth.

It’s a gentle yet powerful modality that works with your spine, nervous system and energy field to release stored tension, emotional charge and long-held patterns of protection - without forcing, digging or re-traumatising your system.

Think of it as a conversation between your body and your energy, with me standing beside you as a translator and guide.

What is Spinal Energetics?

Spinal Energetics is a healing modality created by Chiropractor and Counsellor Dr. Sarah Jane. It brings together modern understanding of the nervous system and the spine with ancient energetic and spiritual principles.

In simple words:

it helps your body let go of what it’s been holding – physically, emotionally and energetically – so your system can find a new, more regulated rhythm.

Every human being carries unseen stories in their body:

➳ unprocessed stress and burnout

➳ emotions you didn’t have space to feel

➳ experiences where you had to “be strong” and just keep going

➳ survival strategies that once kept you safe, but now keep you stuck

These don’t disappear.
They live in your nervous system, your muscles, your breath, your posture.

Spinal Energetics works directly with this stored charge through:

  • very light touch along the spine and body (and often no touch at all)

  • working in the energetic field around you

  • following the natural movements and impulses of your system

As your body responds, you may experience:

  • spontaneous movements or gentle waves through the spine

  • emotional release (tears, laughter, sighs, sound)

  • subtle tremors or vibrations as your nervous system discharges stress

  • or deep stillness and rest

Spinal Energetics is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment, but it can be a powerful ally alongside other support, especially for those ready to listen to their body and nervous system in a deeper way.

What happens in a session?

Every session is different, because you are different each time you arrive.



1. Arrival & check-in

We begin with a short conversation to feel where you are physically, emotionally and energetically. You don’t have to tell your whole story – just what feels true right now.

2. Lying on the table

You stay fully clothed and lie comfortably on a massage table. I may support you with cushions or blankets so your body feels safe and held.

3. Assessment & connection

I gently attune to your spine and energetic field, noticing where there is flow, where there is contraction, and how your system is currently organising itself.

4. The energetic work

Through light touch and working in the field around your body, I invite your nervous system into a different pattern – away from defence and into release, regulation and coherence.

Your body might respond with:

  • small or bigger movements, waves, spirals

  • spontaneous stretches, shakes or unwinding motions

  • changes in breath, sound, laughter, tears

  • or a deep, quiet stillness

All of these are natural expressions of your system reorganising itself.
You are not “making it up”, and you’re not required to “perform” anything.

5. Integration

We close with a few quiet minutes to let your system settle, and a short reflection together. I may offer simple practices to support your integration at home (breath, grounding, journaling, gentle movement).

Sessions can be done in person or online – yes, distance sessions are also effective, as we’re working with your nervous system and energetic field, not only physical touch.

My approach as an Embodiment & Nervous System Mentor

As a Level 2 Spinal Energetics Practitioner, I now work not only with the more dynamic release of tension, but also with the subtle, deeper layers of your system – including ancestral, emotional and energetic imprints held in the fascia, organs and field.

This means our work together might include:

  • more movement and visible release on some days

  • deep stillness, subtle sensations and inner awareness on others

Both are equally powerful.

Alongside Spinal Energetics, I bring in:

  • Somatic & S.O.U.L. Embodiment practices – to help you feel, express and integrate through the body

  • Soul-led coaching & gentle inquiry – to bring clarity and insight to what is shifting

  • Sound healing – mainly in group journeys, to deepen regulation and rest

My intention is always the same:

to create a safe, attuned space where your nervous system can soften,
your body can speak,
and your soul can remember itself.

Is Spinal Energetics right for me?

  • You’re in the midst of an acute psychiatric crisis

  • You have certain heart, neurological or medical conditions where this kind of work is not advised

  • You are under the influence of substances during the session

Once you book, you’ll receive a short intake form where you can share your health information and questions so we can make sure it’s safe and supportive for you.

How many sessions do I need?

Everyone’s journey is different.

  • Some people feel a big shift after one session.

  • Many benefit from a series of sessions to support their nervous system through a deeper re-patterning.

  • Spinal Energetics can be a powerful ally alongside other therapy, coaching or healing work.

We will always decide together, based on how your system responds and what feels right for you.
